Hi Henckens Jan

This is Robert Higgins.

We are fairly active on the planning for more PM activities. There is the PM
Japan forum this weekend at Hitotsubashi University, this weekend. There
will be some English Events on Sunday. We have a PM Global Community x
Pecha-Kucha event in English Scheduled for December 4th. The PMI Japan,
International Relations Committee meets on November 4th for two hours to
plan more events. It is for PMIJ members but I can bring a guest. We are
planning on increasing the frequency of events in English in 2011. There
will be some PMBOK Cafe workshops in 2011 as well.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Just came across this site but realized all the posts are quite old. Could someone let me know if there is an upcoming meeting where I might find out more?
I'm living in Japan for the last 6 years and work in project management for large-scale design and engineering projects, PMI member since 2009.

As a PMI member since 2004 and a person dedicated to PM profession, but also a newcomer to Japan and PMIJ, I am very glad to learn about this community, and would like to express my support and offer assistance in its activities, both locally and globally. I am looking forward to meeting other colleagues online and/or in person and working together in the future. Regards,
