Balance: Knowledge, Networking and New Ideas
PMBOK Café is a Project Management Workshop Series. The Buzzwords are Knowledge, Networking and new Ideas. Each workshop is an opportunity to meet experienced Project Managers and explore project Management Areas of Knowledge. Each Participant has the opportunity to share his or her knowledge. Participants cooperate and work together to understand each other’s knowledge and collaborate to create new knowledge. Collectively, each workshop will document this process to give back to the Project Management Community.
The entire process aligns with The Fourth Edition PMBOK Scope Management “Collect Requirements”. The novelty is how PMBOK Café ties together emerging social networking technology to solve problems. Participants use Cloud Computing, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Docs, Blogs, Wiki’s and other collaboration tools along with face-to-face and formal meetings to arrive at the goal.
